For as long as I can remember, I have always had a vivid imagination and a passion for writing. As many writers do, I started with poetry and expanded my horizons. However, unlike most writers, I did not get a degree in English. Instead, I went a more untraditional path with my education as a writer and studied Anthropology. I now have an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from Trent University and a passion for history and archaeology as well as writing.

I grew up in Toronto, Ontario in a very large and blended family. Currently, I am a wife and mother to two wonderful boys and a chocolate lab named Duke.
